In 2003, Michael endured the early loss of his mother in a tragic car accident. Over the passing years, he found solace in visiting her gravesite, reminiscing about the cherished moments they shared.

Years later, with a loving wife and four children in tow, Michael continues to visit the gravesite. While sharing anecdotes about “Grandma Annie” with his children, he realized that he wanted a better way for his kids to interact, learn, and grow closer to the grandma they never got to meet.
